Gazin ~ Southard Family ”Lost Dauphin” Article

The following article appeared in The Detroit Free Press, dated Sunday, March 6, 1933 and was stashed in the Gazin ~ Southard photo album by exactly whom, is not clear. However, the webmaster doesn’t think it was “an accident” or “a coincidence”. The striking physical resemblance of the two photos in the article (Michigan Missionary, Eleazer Williams, and The Lost Dauphin, Louis XVII) compared to various descendants of both yesteryear as well as today, plus the family’s “French Connection”, certainly might catch ones attention and cause a little “hummm”! :-)
